While prowling the depths of a derelict space station, a group of young space colonists come face to face with the most dangerous life form in the universe.. 'Alien: Romulus' Stars Cailee Spaeny and Isabela Merced reveal why director Fede Alvarez used practical effects and animated xenomorphs to scare his actors.. Physical sets, practical creatures and miniatures were later used wherever possible to help ground the VFX action.. As the rain turns off the ship’s gravity and shoots all the aliens, all their blood hangs in mid-air in long, smeared patterns. .

Saw it last night and was quite disappointed. There was a lot of publicity for this. It’s just another generic Alien movie that we really didn’t want. A predictable and shallow plot and characters. Some bits made me laugh out loud and not in a good way.
A carbon copy
It is literally a replica of the first 2 movies in terms of look, feel, tone. Yes there are some new moments which are interesting but moments don’t make a movie. The ending which we have already seen in Alien Resurrection was also a complete miss.This is the same story for Terminator. We don’t need any more movies. Everything that needs to be said has been said with the first 2 films..
